I'm working today. And tomorrow.
I have long since come to the conclusion that I wouldn't mind working weekends if SOMETHING happened on them. As it is, I've been in a little over 4 hours now, and I've recieved one phonecall inbound (which wasn't a fault, it was a reseller calling to whine about how we couldn't regrade his ADSL line until it finishes stabilising from its last regrade) and rung up Tiscali to bitch about them for not sending through information when they said they would.
The total amount of time these two tasks took me was 45 mins. At the most.
Argh. I have a sleeping bag in my car. Damn the fact I'm not here alone, or I would so be having a kip on the floor right about now.

Apple juice of today: Belle de Boskoop - heavy, is the first descriptor that comes to mind. In the same way that a very thick honey can get spicy if you have too much of it? That's this apple juice. And I've noticed that if you have a particularly large swig, there can be a bit of a sulphuric aftertaste that comes through that's not dissimilar to garlic. Too strong for light drinking, but would work wonderfully in some spiced apple sauce to go with pork.
Oh, and my advice on the pots of dip they're now selling on the olive stall in the farmer's market for £2 a go? Stay away from the Aioli. That was a disappointment! :(
