Positive Things.
Nov. 25th, 2013 01:28 pmArgh. Oh, I'm trying so very hard not to hit a downward spiral at the moment, and it's really really difficult. The atmosphere at work is not helping. Time to list the positives to try and keep on top of it.
- I had a really nice Saturday hanging out with Doug, and then at Pie night with everyone else. I also won best tasting savory, which proves that bacon juice really will make anything better.
- As a result, I had too much filling so can totally have a nice pie when Doug's away later this week. Also, I have awesome sandwiches today, thanks to left over gammon.
- Doug being away Tuesday and Wednesday means I have some free time to catch up with people online. Or go for coffee with people in town, should I have any offers.
- Being on lates for the next fortnight means I can actually try and talk to people online and stuff, rather than having to disappear to bed just when everyone is coming online. Speaking of, if anyone would like some RP as a result, lemme know, I'm sure I can come up with something.
- I have a half written game pair that will either be high level or unranked-but-take-your-chances. It will be a lot of work, but a lot of fun to run and watch. Anyone who feels like coming to help GM, lemme know.
- We have the Xmas market this weekend, and then Westonbirt, which would be nice on its own, but I also get to see everyone at the same time, includig hang out with some folks I don't get to see enough. And I get a Drew on Sunday, which is fantastic, as I'm missing him a lot at the mo.
- Shadowrun tonight, which I'm hoping will be RP tastic. It will definitely be blowing-shit-up-tastic.
- I appear to be losing weight. I have no idea how I've managed this.
- My brother's incredible luck is holding, which means in Thailand he managed to stumble onto the festival of light, which is only held once a year and involves 20,000 sky lanterns, so I get photos like this in my inbox:

- I have lots of friends and family that I love and get to spend time with. I have my health and am gainfully employed, and even if I do come down with that heavy cold that keeps threatening, we now get sick pay from day 1, and some time off from work to do nothing other than lounge in bed and catch up on Masterchef would probably be a positive thing.
