Absolutely fine; he has so far avoided eye contact with me, never mind actually speaking to me, so either he hasn't realised who I am either or he knows he was skirting a line (he's technically senior to me although we're in vastly different departments) and isn't chancing it.

If the latter, frankly, that makes him even more creepy, to be honest...
