Because it's late and I'm bored, have a few more.

More out of the blue random statements:

What do you want, a cookie?

Older guy skeezoid central!

Some people who haven't done the online dating thing - or, more importantly, have never done it as a young female - may not notice the issue with this message. I will highlight to you the following:
- He never actually talks about anything in my profile specifically, merely claims to have read it. This is probably a cut and paste message that went out to anyone female he liked the look of, all of which were probably younger than him, and he's hoping the fact it's a multi-paragraph message with decent spelling and grammar is enough people won't notice.
- The compliment he gives me is something based on a vagueness that could be applied to most profiles. It's also a variant on the ever skeevy trying-to-control-you line that is 'but you're so mature for your age!' (See also 'but you're so different to anyone else your age!' This would be someone trying to place expectations of behaviour on you so they can come back and pull those strings at a later date kiddos: run like the wind.)
- His age? Is 54. The age range he has stated he is interested in? Is 24-45. If someone doesn't want people their own age, it generally means they know up front that in actual fact no one their own age will want them or will be willing to put up with the bullshit they spew, but they reckon they might be able to get away with it with a younger or less experienced partner. Were you already running like the wind? Good, because it's time to don the jetpack!

The old 'reply to my message! But I haven't actually asked you anything!' tactic:

And finally, that classic that is 'well, at least he was upfront about what he was after, I guess?'

Oh yeah, but he's 20 years older than I am.
